MEDIA BLASTING
We are very pleased to share we offer an in house solution to the absolute best possible forms of media blasting and cleaning, when it comes to automotive components. We utilize both dry and wet blasting techniques - along with hot tank pressure washers and ultrasonic cleaners. For steel / iron components we recommend a dry blasting solution (your typical sand or glass abrasives). Aluminum is where our efforts really shine (pun intended)! We offer Vapor Blasting which involves either a glass or soda abrasive in combination with high pressure water. This method cuts down nearly entirely on heat input and utilizing softer abrasives, makes it an ideal solution for softer materials such as aluminum and brass.
Our Subaru case halves present a perfect example of what you can expect. The finish after our process is "like new"!
